2KK Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid Foundation (2KK) creates sustainable communities through the education and empowerment of underprivileged children and youth.
It was formed in 2003 after the Payatas landslide tragedy by group of teenagers from Metro Manila who decided to do small charitable activities every weekend. This evolved into a strong relationship with the community in Payatas B, which has now lasted for over 13 years, and now have expanded to new communities in Escopa and Sampaloc. This mindset is behind the 2KK belief that through acts of kindness, no matter how small, great and lasting changes can be made. 2KK aspires to show the youth that there is hope despite the injustice, apathy and mediocrity that poverty has created. |
