What is YAPAK Program?

YAPAK or Yaman Ang Pag-Aralin Ang Kabataan (Education of the Youth is Wealth) is the educational scholarship program of the 2KK Foundation focused on providing scholarships to deserving elementary, high school and college students from marginalized sectors and underprivileged backgrounds, funded by the sponsorships of generous individuals and groups.

What sets Yapak apart from other scholarship programs?
TATAK YAPAK: YAPAK scholars pay it forward by volunteering as scholar-tutors through 2KK’s KAPATID Tutorial and Values Formation Program. The scholars themselves become teachers to their peers.

YAPAKapamilya: The YAPAK Core Team, through 2KK’s KAPATID, works closely with our Community Parent Partners in order to work together for the betterment of the scholar. This also allows us to check that the scholars are fulfilling their requirements (i.e. minimum average of 80%).

​But where does my donation really go?
100% of the sponsorship money goes to the YAPAK scholar under the management of his or her parent/guardian and monitored by YAPAK’s Core Team.

The funds received by the students are used for tuition (college) and other expenses including: miscellaneous fees charged by the school, books, materials, research expenses, school uniforms and living allowance.

Tell me, how do I sponsor a Yapak scholar?
  1. ​CLICK SPONSOR NOW BUTTON. Fill in your contact details and follow the prompts for payments. We currently accept cash deposits, check payments, credit card, bank transfers and Paypal.
  2. RECEIVE YOUR YAPAK SPONSOR PROFILE. This includes a detailed profile of your scholar, a thank you letter from your scholar, your scholar’s most recent report card.

How much does it cost to sponsor a Yapak scholar?
Sponsorships at:
  • PHP 3,500 To sponsor a GRADE SCHOOL student
  • PHP 3,500 to sponsor a HIGH SCHOOL student.
  • PHP 20,000 to sponsor a COLLEGE student.
